Our Founder
Albert Lacambra Basil
FounderAfter more than 15 years in enterprise software across construction, logistics, and finance, Albert founded Datamantics to solve a problem he encountered repeatedly: the gap between what organizations know and what their systems can use.
At Nexplore (HOCHTIEF/ACS Group), he served as Solutions Architect and Team Lead, where he witnessed how critical business knowledge remained locked in the heads of long-serving employees while IT systems captured only a fraction of what mattered. At DB Cargo, he contributed to HIPPS, a contract management system that succeeded precisely because it encoded domain expertise into reusable workflows.
The pattern was always the same: technology projects failed not because of the technology, but because business and IT spoke different languages. Expert knowledge never made it into the systems that needed it.
